Zuku Go Home Campaign

Built on Zuku's positioning as a home product, we showed the lengths to which people would go to to go home and enjoy Zuku. We targeted  young urbanites who were influencers on matters internet and entertainment.

We shot these with Big Ideas at Wananchi offices over two days. As usual, we had lots of fun at the shoot, especially the slapping bit.

The opening 1.5sec scene in the above ad took us an entire hour just to light!
No one was injured (severely) while making these ads.

Subsequently, the demand created by outdoor, print and radio from the Zuku launch campaign overwhelmed the supply capacity... so to ease the pressure off the installation teams, these ads were diverted online instead of mainstream TV, and were incporporated as part of a viral online campaign. 

The buzz these generated online delivered visits to zuku.co.ke as well as increased subscriptions and revenue for our client.


English football is big in Kenya. It is our favorite weekend activity - watching, not playing. In partnership with GTV, Zuku TV subscribers could follow their favorite teams and players form the comfort of their homes as opposed to the crowded bars which is where football is mostly watched. This spot highlighted the disadvantages of watching your favorite team amidst all the interruptions found in a bar. It was produced by Zenith.
