Easy FM Love Station Rebrand
After Nation Media Group's Nation FM in rebranded to Easy FM, another shift in strategy was imminent, as the station's sound indecisively swung from rumba to soul to urban over the years. In 2007, they decided to carve a niche for themselves as a love station, a position that no other radio station in Kenya had, despite the huge popularity of the genre.

A few days before launch, word from the Nation Media Group head office put a halt on the entire rebrand exercise - they decided Easy FM was to change yet again to an R&B Station. So, we bought them a tub of ice-cream, wished them the best, and agreed to remain just friends.
